The Bible is God’s revealed Word to humanity and is considered the foundation of the Christian faith and its teachings. It consists of the Old Testament and the New Testament, where the Old Testament includes the history of creation, the people of Israel, and God’s promise of salvation, while the New Testament focuses on the life of Jesus Christ, His crucifixion, and His resurrection, which provides salvation to all who believe in Him. The Bible is our guide for spiritual life, a light that leads believers in their journey with God, and the sole source of divine truth and the way to a personal relationship with the Lord. God has revealed the truth of His identity through His Word, and all people can learn from reading it.

**Where Should I Start Reading?**

The best place to start reading the Bible is the Gospel. There are four Gospels that tell the story of Jesus’ life, each highlighting different aspects of His journey.

– The Gospel of **Matthew** focuses on Jesus’ moral teachings and the meaning behind calling Him “the Christ.”
– The Gospel of **Mark** emphasizes Jesus’ actions and where He went, containing many of His miracles.
– The Gospel of **Luke** highlights Jesus’ parables and miracles.
– The Gospel of **John** includes many of Jesus’ sayings and discusses His love in detail.

We recommend starting with the Gospel of **Matthew**.

**What Is the Best Bible Translation?**

There are many misconceptions about different “versions” of the Bible. In reality, there are no different versions, but rather various translations. Just like the Quran has multiple English translations using different words to express the same meaning, the Bible has been translated from the original Greek into hundreds of languages.

We recommend reading the **”Book of Life” translation** as it is both accurate and easy to understand.

**Is There a Special Way to Read the Bible?**

We suggest reading the Bible for **15–30 minutes every morning**. Of course, you can read the Bible at any time, but it is important to develop a habit of regular reading. If you read in the morning, you can reflect on the words throughout the day.
